Whether you work on cell phone towers, high tension power towers, water towers or radio towers the need to be OSHA (occupational safety and hazard administration) is mandatory.

Working on towers can be extremely dangerous and having the skills to identify hazards is crucial.

Rescue 3 has developed this course to comply with OSHA requirements 1910 & 19.6 for 100% tie off, lead climbing and personal fall arrest systems.

We also cover structure based concerns and pre work inspection of towers and requirements for daily safety meetings.

We also go into medical considerations of fallen workers and environmental concerns such as wind and lightning and the hazards of equipment on towers.

Safety is only part of this class, rescue is our other focus.

The equipment needed for tower rescue varies depending on the type of rescue being conducted. We cover single person pick offs, ground based and on tower rescues and the equipment needed such as pulleys, belay devices and lowering devices.

Towers come in all shapes and sizes.
